Important to Know: Management vs. Data Traffic
To make the right decision, it is important to understand what is included in this package and what is optional.
1. The Management (Included Here ✅)
This license is the "life insurance" for your router.
* Visibility: Your router is online and reports its status (signal, temperature, GPS).
* Maintenance: You can apply firmware updates (FOTA) to close security gaps long-term.
* Control: You can change settings, reset passwords, or reboot the device.
* Alerts: You get notified if a device fails.
There are no additional costs for these functions for 3 years.
2. The Data Traffic (Sold Separately ❌)
If you use the router as a "bridge" to access devices behind it (e.g., remote maintenance of a controller via RMS VPN or web access to a camera via RMS Connect), user data flows through the server.
This volume is not included in the Management License.
Teltonika gives every company account a one-time gift of 5 GB to start. If this buffer is empty, you need a separate Data Pack (e.g., the RMSDT101G150) for active remote maintenance sessions.

It is ideal for fleet managers and operators who primarily want to monitor the status of their devices and only occasionally need remote access (which can then simply be added via a Data Pack).
