What does IP65 mean?
The "6" stands for dust-tight, the "5" for protection against water jets (nozzle) from any angle. This means: A heavy rain shower or the garden hose won't harm the contents. The inlaid sealing cord guarantees that this protection lasts.

Application Tips
The housing material (plastic) is easy to work with. You can easily drill holes for cable glands without the material splintering (we recommend step drills). Since plastic allows signals to pass through, WiFi or radio modules (e.g., for Smart Home) can be operated directly inside the closed box.
