This weatherproof PG11 cable glant / feedthrough is made of solid polyamid plastic. The diameter of the opening is 5mm - 10mm, depending on how strength you tighten it.
A possible application example is the use on a weatherproof housing. The cable glant will allow you to feed any cable to the enclosure. The o ring makes sure that no water gets inside the enclosure.
