MikroTik Wireless Wire nRAY: Fiber Speed Without Configuration Stress
The nRAYG-60ADPAIR solves one of the biggest problems in networking: How do I connect Building A with Building B without tearing up the ground? And above all: How do I do that without a degree in telecommunications engineering? This kit is the answer. It replaces a Gigabit Ethernet cable with air – and behaves just as simply.
The "Wireless Wire" Principle: Plug & Play
Many point-to-point systems require complex setup: frequency scan, choosing channel width, adjusting modulation scheme, generating encryption keys... With the nRAY, this is completely eliminated. * Pre-Paired: The two devices in the box already know each other. They are matched at the factory. * Pre-Encrypted: AES encryption is already active. No one can "intercept" the connection. * Installation: You mount Device A on the first building, Device B on the second. As soon as they get power and point roughly at each other, they automatically establish the 2 Gbps link (1 Gbps Full Duplex). It doesn't get any easier.
Why 60 GHz is the Future
Traditional point-to-point WiFi (5 GHz) often suffers from interference from neighboring networks. The nRAY uses the 60 GHz band. * The Advantage: Signals in this frequency range are strongly attenuated by oxygen in the air. What sounds negative is actually brilliant: The signal reaches exactly to the target and disturbs no one behind it. There is practically no "noise". * The Security: The connection is physically extremely difficult to intercept because the "beam" is very narrow (Pencil Beam).
Design Meets Function
The predecessor (Wireless Wire Dish) was large and susceptible to wind. The nRAY is a radical evolution. * Aerodynamics: The honeycomb structure and compact shape offer almost no surface area for the wind. * Snow Protection: Snow slides off the housing, so the signal remains stable even in winter. * Performance: Inside works a powerful Dual-Core ARM CPU that handles data throughput effortlessly.
