Turn fiber into copper! The Lightwin LWO-SFP-RJ45-M is an SFP transceiver that transforms your fiber optic slot into a fully-fledged RJ45 Gigabit port. It is the perfect solution when you run out of copper ports on your switch but still have free SFP slots available. The module delivers full 1000 Mbps (Gigabit) speed and bridges distances of up to 100 meters using standard Cat.5e, Cat.6, or Cat.7 network cables. It operates according to the MSA standard, making it compatible with almost all switches (Ubiquiti, MikroTik, Netgear, Zyxel) that do not have a hard vendor lock.

Technology Without Compromise

The module behaves exactly like a permanently installed network port. * Range: Just like fixed ports, up to **100 meters** are possible. * Cable: You can use your existing Cat.5e, Cat.6, or Cat.7 cables. * Auto-Negotiation: The module automatically negotiates the speed (10/100/1000 Mbps) with the connected device (depending on the host switch).

Easy Installation

Simply plug it into the SFP slot, flip the lever (lock), and connect the network cable. In your switch software (e.g., UniFi Controller), the slot then appears as an active uplink or normal port.
