Atecom HT-336-A4: The Tool for Low Loss Pros
Anyone buying high-quality cables like H155 or RF240 doesn't want to risk signal loss due to poor connections. A loose connector immediately negates the gain of a good cable.
The Atecom HT-336-A4 is tuned exactly to the dimensions of these cables. It is the standard tool to professionally press our SMA, N-type, or BNC connectors onto the cable.
One Tool, Two Cable Types
The special feature of the A4 insert (Die Set) is that it covers exactly the two most important sizes you need for our assortment:
- Slot 5.41 mm (.213"): The perfect size for the crimp ferrule of H155 cables (and classic RG58).
- Slot 6.48 mm (.255"): The exact size for the crimp ferrule of RF240 cables (and RG59).
- Slot 1.72 mm (.068"): For the gold center pin.
Why Ratchet instead of Cheap Tools?
Especially with H155 and RF240, correct pressure is crucial for shielding and strain relief. This tool features a ratchet mechanism.
You squeeze the handle, and the tool locks step by step. It only opens automatically when the crimp cycle is 100% complete. This prevents "half-measures" and guarantees that the connector sits tightly on the cable even after years.
Durable & Maintainable
The tool consists of solid, blackened tool steel. The handles are ergonomically shaped and non-slip. You can fine-tune the crimping pressure via an adjustment wheel if it should decrease slightly after thousands of crimps. A tool built to last.
