The Cable for Tough Jobs and Long Distances
Standard indoor network cables (with PVC or LSZH jackets) quickly become porous and absorb water outdoors due to sunlight and temperature fluctuations. The LogiLink CPV0083 direct burial cable solves exactly this problem, even across great distances.
It is equipped with a thick, black polyethylene (PE) outer jacket. This special plastic does not harden, is extremely tear-resistant, and reliably protects the interior of the cable from moisture, soil acids, and aggressive UV radiation. You can bury this cable directly in the ground without the need for an additional protective conduit. To simplify laying the 250 meters, the cable is supplied on a sturdy spool that is perfect for unrolling.
Lossless 10G Performance (CAT 7)
Whether you are connecting high-resolution PoE surveillance cameras at the edge of a large property or extending your home network to a distant workshop via an underground cable: You don't have to compromise on performance. The thick AWG23 solid copper conductors (OFC - Oxygen Free Copper) guarantee excellent signal transmission at frequencies up to 1000 MHz. This makes the cable fully 10 Gigabit capable (10GBASE-T).
Double Shielded Holds Better (S/FTP)
Shielding is crucial, especially when network cables are laid in the same trench as strong 230V power cables. The LogiLink CPV0083 uses the S/FTP standard: Each of the four wire pairs is wrapped in its own aluminum foil (PiMF), and the entire cable bundle is additionally surrounded by a dense copper braid. Interference (crosstalk) doesn't stand a chance here!
Tip: Since this is a solid installation cable, you will need LSA network sockets, patch panels, or toolless keystone jacks at the ends to provide RJ45 ports for your end devices.
