G4 Dome: The Discreet Wide-Angle Expert
Bullet cameras often protrude far into the room and can be easily misaligned. The Ubiquiti UVC-G4-DOME, on the other hand, sits flat against the ceiling or wall. It is barely larger than a smoke detector and therefore attracts less attention. But its small size is deceptive: The housing is protected against vandalism according to IK08. This makes it the first choice for public hallways, low ceilings in retail stores, or entrance areas where someone could reach the camera by hand.
Everything in View with 102°
The Dome's strength lies in its lens. The wide viewing angle of over 100° allows you to hang the camera in a corner and monitor the entire room. Where you would need two devices with other cameras, a single G4 Dome is often sufficient here.
Intelligence on Board
Like its sister models, the G4 Dome features Smart Detection. It analyzes movements directly on the device. You won't be annoyed when the cat walks through the frame, but you get a push notification immediately when a person is detected. Thanks to the integrated infrared LEDs, this works even in complete darkness.
Note on outdoor use: The camera is IPX4 certified (splash-proof). It is perfect for outdoors as long as it hangs under a canopy or roof overhang. For direct, exposed weathering on the weather side, we recommend the Bullet or Pro series.
