Ubiquiti UXG-Pro: The USG-Pro-4 Successor on Steroids
For a long time, the USG-Pro-4 was the standard in the rack. The UXG-Pro inherits this legacy but eliminates every bottleneck.
It is the ideal choice for admins who (unlike with the UDM-Pro) want to separate gateway and controller hardware – for example, in large multi-site installations (MSPs).
10 Gigabit Routing & DPI
The UXG-Pro is a performance beast. It offers:
* WAN Side: Dual-WAN support with 10G SFP+ and 1G RJ45 for failover or load balancing.
* LAN Side: Also 10G SFP+ and 1G RJ45 to connect core switches with full bandwidth.
Even if you set Deep Packet Inspection (DPI) and Intrusion Prevention (IPS) to "Maximum", this device still routes 3.5 Gbps.
Enterprise Features
In addition to raw speed, the UXG-Pro offers professional hardware features: * SmartPower RPS: On the back, there is a port for the external "SmartPower Redundant Power System". If the internal power supply fails, the RPS takes over without interruption. * Touch Display: The 1.3" display on the front instantly shows you IP addresses, throughput, and load.
