The 4x4 MIMO Solution for Urban and Mobile
The Poynting XPOL-1-5G (V2) is the "all-rounder" among high-end antennas. Unlike directional antennas that require a clear line of sight to the tower, this omni-directional antenna feels at home where the signal is unclear. It captures radio waves from all directions. This makes it the perfect choice for densely built-up city centers where signals reflect off buildings ("Urban Canyon"), or for moving objects like houseboats and RVs.
Why 4x4 MIMO?
Modern 5G routers (like the Teltonika RUTX50 or Netgear Nighthawk M6) have four antenna ports. If you only use two, you're giving away half the speed. The XPOL-1-5G V2 uses four separate antennas in one housing (and therefore has 4 cables) to maximize the bandwidth of your router.
V2 - The New Generation
The V2 version offered here has been completely redesigned. It now also covers the important 3400 - 3800 MHz band for fast 5G and delivers significantly better performance across the entire spectrum than its predecessor.
Mounting: Possible Everywhere
Poynting has thought ahead here: You can screw the antenna firmly to a pole or wall. If you are only temporarily in one place (e.g., in a hotel or campsite), you can even simply attach it to the inside of the window pane with the included suction cups.
