The Space-Saving Marvel (450mm Depth)
Not everyone has a dedicated server room available. Often, networking equipment must be accommodated in the hallway, basement, or home office. This is exactly where the EXTRALINK 12U equipment cabinet (EX.7263) shows its strength. With its reduced depth of only 450 mm, it is specifically designed for classic networking hardware (such as PoE switches, patch panels, shelves, and routers). It integrates unobtrusively into your premises without standing in the way as a massive block. Note: This shallow model is not intended for extremely deep 19-inch server motherboards – we recommend our 600mm or 800mm deep variants for those.
Security and Flexibility
Networking equipment belongs under lock and key to protect it from dust, accidental cable disconnections, or tampering. The front door made of tempered glass and the completely removable side panels of this cabinet are lockable. You have full access for maintenance work but lock out unauthorized hands. Thanks to the robust construction, you can flexibly place the enclosure on the floor or hang it directly as a space-saving wall distributor. The cable entry in the roof makes clean cable routing much easier.
Active Cooling and Easy Assembly
When many switches operate closely together, heat is generated. The roof panel is therefore already prepared for the mounting of two active case fans to prevent heat buildup. Another huge plus is the logistics: The cabinet is delivered as an unassembled kit in a handy flat-pack. You don't have to wait for a freight forwarder and can easily carry the package to its destination alone. Assembly is done quickly thanks to the simple design!
