Can I connect my older CAT.5e Ethernet Cables to this CAT.6 Patchpanel?
What do the color codes TIA/EIA 568A and 568B on the back mean?
These are simply two standardized 'wiring instructions' that show you exactly which wire goes to which contact. In Europe, most people use the B standard. The important thing is: choose one and consistently apply it throughout your entire Network, from the outlet to the panel.
Is your Patchpanel suitable for wall mounting or only for a 19-Inch Rack?
