The "Truth" About Your Wiring
After punching down a network socket or crimping a plug, the question always arises: "Did I do everything right?". The LogiLink WZ0015 gives the answer.
How It Works
Plug one end of the cable into the "Master" and the other into the "Remote". Switch the device on (ON or S for Slow). The LEDs will now run through from 1 to 8.
* All green? Perfect, the connection is 1:1.
* An LED stays dark? The wire has no contact (cable break or bad crimp).
* Order wrong (e.g., 1-2-4-3)? You have crossed wires.
Ideal for Home Installations
The biggest advantage is modularity. If you have laid a cable from the basement to the attic, you cannot hold both ends to one device. With the WZ0015, simply pull off the right side (Remote), plug it into the socket upstairs, and measure downstairs in the basement with the main unit.
