Maximum Performance for Your Point-to-Point Backhaul

When every decibel counts, the Cyberbajt DishEter PRO 23 HV is the right choice. This directional Parabolic Antenna was specially developed for professional point-to-point radio applications where stability and high data throughput are crucial. Thanks to dual H/V polarization and support for 2x2 MIMO technology, you can maximize the bandwidth of your connection. The extremely high polarization isolation of over 50 dB ensures that the two data streams remain cleanly separated, which drastically reduces interference and ensures a stable connection even in highly frequented radio environments.

Built for Precision and Durability

The success of a long-range connection depends on precise alignment. The very narrow beamwidth of only approx. 8 degrees bundles the transmit energy precisely onto the opposing station and effectively blocks out lateral interference sources. While this requires precise adjustment, it rewards you with an exceptionally stable and powerful connection. The robust construction is designed for a wind load of up to 201 km/h, and the flexible mast mount fits diameters from 26 to 72 mm. Another advantage: the Antenna is delivered fully assembled, saving you valuable time during on-site installation.

Flexibility in the Frequency Jungle: 4.9 to 6.2 GHz

Easily avoid overloaded channels. With a usable frequency range of 4.9 GHz to 6.2 GHz, the DishEter PRO 23 HV covers not only the entire 5 GHz band but also parts of the new 6 GHz spectrum (Wi-Fi 6E). This gives you the necessary flexibility to always find the cleanest and most powerful channel for your connection. As a passive point-to-point Antenna, it is the perfect complement for radio devices from manufacturers like MikroTik or Ubiquiti and enables the setup of high-performance backhaul links.

Strengths & Notes at a Glance

  • Pro: Excellent signal quality due to extremely high polarization isolation (>50 dB) and high front-to-back ratio (>40 dB).
  • Pro: Wide frequency band (4.9 - 6.2 GHz) for flexible channel selection and avoiding interference.
  • Pro: High directionality (23 dBi gain, ~8° beamwidth) for stable long-range connections.
  • Pro: Robust, weatherproof construction and quick installation, as delivered fully assembled.
  • Note: The very narrow beamwidth requires extremely precise and stable alignment of the antenna.
  • Note: The absence of a radome can impair performance in extreme snowfall or ice formation.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Is the Cyberbajt DishEter PRO 23 HV a complete WiFi Bridge Set?

No, it is exclusively a passive antenna. To build a functional WiFi Bridge Set (point-to-point connection), you need two of these WiFi Antennas as well as two compatible radio devices (e.g., from MikroTik Routers or Ubiquiti Networks airMAX ac Components), which are connected to the Antennas.

What distances is this 23 dBi Antenna suitable for?

The maximum range depends on many factors, such as the transmit power of the radio device, the desired data rate, the frequency, and especially a clear line-of-sight. With 23 dBi gain, connections over several kilometers with high data rates are achievable under ideal conditions, making it suitable for a robust Network.

What does 'dual polarization (HV)' mean?

Dual polarization means that the WiFi Antenna can transmit and receive simultaneously on two mutually perpendicular planes (Horizontal and Vertical). This enables a doubling of the theoretical data transfer rate through 2x2 MIMO technology compared to a single-polarized WiFi Antenna.

Can I use this WiFi Antenna for my home WiFi to improve reception?

No, this WiFi Antenna is unsuitable for that. It is a highly directional Antenna that bundles a signal into a very narrow corridor. It is designed for fixed point-to-point or point-to-multipoint connections over long distances, not for general illumination of an area like a house or garden, unlike a WiFi Access Point or WiFi Router.

What Antenna Cables do I need to connect to a radio device?

The Antenna has two N-female connectors. You therefore need two weatherproof Coaxial Pigtails with an N-male connector on one side and the appropriate Coaxial Connectors for your radio device (e.g., RP-SMA) on the other side. The Antenna Cables length should be as short as possible to minimize signal loss.

Is the WiFi Antenna suitable for 6 GHz WiFi operation (Wi-Fi 6E)?

Yes, the frequency range of the WiFi Antenna covers 4.9 to 6.2 GHz, thus including the lower part of the 6 GHz band relevant for Wi-Fi 6E. It is therefore technically suitable for use in this area, provided local regulatory provisions allow operation. This makes it a versatile Dual-Band / WiFi 6E / WiFi 7 Antennas option.
