Why a Twin Cable for LTE & 5G?
Mobile networks (4G/LTE and 5G) operate almost exclusively using MIMO technology (Multiple Input Multiple Output). This means your router transmits and receives on two antennas simultaneously to double the speed and stabilize the connection. That's why most routers and outdoor antennas have two ports.
Instead of struggling to run two individual cables through the wall, you can use our CLF-200 Twin Cable. It can be routed like a single cable and splits cleanly at the ends.
The Right Connector for Your Router
The connector combination on this cable is the absolute standard for mobile broadband:
- 2x N-Male: The large, robust connectors go outside to your LTE/5G outdoor antenna.
- 2x SMA-Male: The small screw connectors (with the pin in the center) go to your router (e.g., Teltonika, FritzBox, Huawei, Netgear).
Not sure if your router has SMA? Just take a look at our product images. We've included a comparison picture of an SMA connection on a router. (Note: Do not confuse it with RP-SMA for standard Wi-Fi!).
Flexibility Meets Performance
The CLF-200 is an excellent cable for distances like 10m. It has significantly lower attenuation than very thin standard cables (like RG-58) but is still comfortable to route around corners and through cable ducts with its individual diameter of approx. 5mm.
