Ubiquiti POE-50-60W: The Powerhouse for airFiber
When you run an airFiber 24 or airFiber 5, you are dealing with true carrier-class hardware. These devices have multiple radio chips and powerful processors. A standard 24W power supply would surrender immediately.
The POE-50-60W delivers the necessary energy: 60 Watts at 50 Volts.
4-Pair Powering: Why It Matters
To safely send 60 Watts over a thin Ethernet cable, the normal PoE method (power on 2 pairs) is not enough – the cables would get too warm, and voltage drop would be too high.
This adapter uses all 4 wire pairs (8 wires) simultaneously for power transport.
Result: The current is distributed better, arrives more efficiently at the mast top, and enables longer cable runs even with power-hungry hardware.
