Simple Principle, Huge Impact
The adapter is simply screwed onto the 1 inch BSF male thread (14 tpi) of your mount at the bottom. The result is a 20 cm high, highly stable tube with a diameter of 38 mm. You can now clamp any brand of antenna that requires a classic mast installation to this tube. This turns a rigid threaded system into a universal platform for your networking equipment.
Nylon for the Toughest Uses
A mast adapter is exposed to high leverage forces due to wind load. Therefore, the MAU20 is machined from a solid block of special nylon. It does not break, it does not rust, and it does not weather.
