Security That Acts, Not Just Records
The TP-Link VIGI C340 is more than just a camera – it's an active bouncer. Normal cameras just film a break-in. The C340 tries to prevent it. Thanks to the "Active Defense" function, it detects people in zones you define and reacts immediately with light and noise (siren/voice warning).
Why 2.8mm Lens?
You have the version with 2.8mm focal length here. This means: Wide Angle! This lens is perfect if you want to cover a wide area close to the camera (e.g., the entire forecourt, terrace, or entrance area). It sees "wide", but doesn't zoom in closely optically.
Night Vision in Color
Classic infrared cameras (IR) turn everything grey at night. The VIGI C340 switches on its white LEDs in the dark. The advantage: You recognize faces and clothing much better. A grey car in the dark is hard to identify – a red car in the spotlight is unambiguous.
Weatherproof and Robust
The camera is IP66 certified. Rain, dust, and snow don't bother it. Installation is child's play thanks to PoE (Power over Ethernet): One network cable is enough for data and power.
