Poynting MIMO-4-19: A New Class of Performance
When "good" isn't good enough, the MIMO-4-19 comes into play. Standard antennas offer 2x2 or maybe 4x4 MIMO in cellular. However, this model additionally offers 4x4 MIMO in the Wi-Fi range. This means: Four separate Wi-Fi antennas transmit and receive simultaneously.
This enables extremely fast local networks, massive throughput during "offloading" (receiving Wi-Fi from the campsite/harbor), and future-proofing that is second to none.
Scenario 1: Luxury Motorhomes & Mobile Offices
Anyone using their motorhome as a full-fledged office or production studio often relies on enterprise routers (e.g., from Cradlepoint or Peplink) that have countless antenna ports.
* High-Speed Wi-Fi: The 4x4 Wi-Fi architecture ensures that dozens of devices (laptops, tablets, smart home) inside and around the vehicle are supplied with top speed simultaneously.
* Future-Proof: The antenna already supports frequencies up to 7.2 GHz. This makes you ready for the latest standards like Wi-Fi 6E and Wi-Fi 7.
* One Drill Hole: Instead of perforating the roof lining with 9 individual antennas, you route all cables cleanly through a single, central threaded spigot.

* Maximum Range: Due to the large housing of the MIMO series, the antennas are physically optimally separated. This ensures reception where small puck antennas have long lost the signal.

Flexible Mounting
Despite the 9 cables, mounting remains surprisingly simple. Poynting supplies everything:
1. Threaded Spigot: The pro solution. The 9 cables are bundled through the hollow threaded spigot. Absolutely waterproof.
2. Adhesive Mounting: With the 3M industrial pad (no drilling required, cables can also be routed out the side if necessary).
3. Pole Mounting: For the railing or equipment arch.
