10G Uplink & PoE-Out on Port 10
The connectivity of the RB4011 is an administrator's dream. You get not only ten Gigabit copper ports (divided into two fast switch groups) but also a dedicated 10G SFP+ port. Connect your main switch or your server via fiber optics or a DAC cable with breathtaking 10 Gbps! Another clever detail: Do you have a Wi-Fi access point near the server rack? Simply plug it into Port 10! This port provides Passive PoE-Out (up to 57V), saving you from needing an additional PoE injector.
IPsec Hardware and Matte Black Design
For secure site-to-site networking or remote workers, the device offers dedicated IPsec hardware encryption. This allows you to build extremely high-performance VPN tunnels without burdening the main CPU. The entire system is driven by the fully-fledged RouterOS Level 5 license. The exterior matches the interior perfectly: The completely fanless enclosure made of solid matte black metal serves as a massive passive heatsink. You can place it on the desk or securely screw it into your 19-inch rack using the included rackmount brackets.
