Your Internet, Your Rules: 4G for Maximum Flexibility

No more slow or unavailable internet connections. The Cudy LT400 gives you the freedom to go online anywhere there is a 4G mobile signal. Whether in rural areas, in a holiday home, on a construction site, or while camping – simply insert your Nano-SIM card into the router and you'll provide all your devices with stable WiFi. Setup is child's play and done in minutes, without a technician or complicated settings. This 4G / 5G Router is the perfect solution for uncomplicated connectivity.

Always Online – The Home Office Router with Failover Function

For your home office or small business, a stable internet connection is indispensable. The LT400 offers you excellent security with its intelligent WAN failover function. Simply connect your existing DSL or fiber optic modem to the flexible WAN/LAN port. The router will then primarily use the wired connection. However, if this fails, it will switch quickly and automatically to the 4G connection. This keeps your video conferences, downloads, and cloud applications running without interruption.

Strong Signal Thanks to External Antennas

While many mobile routers rely on weak, internal Antennas, the Cudy LT400 is equipped with four external 5dBi Antennas. Two of these are specifically responsible for optimal reception of the 4G signal, while the other two ensure a strong and far-reaching 300 Mbps WiFi signal in the 2.4 GHz band. The result: a more stable connection and better performance, even in areas with weaker Network coverage. A decisive advantage for anyone looking for a 4G Router for poor reception. The 4G antennas can even be replaced by more powerful models if required, thanks to the standard SMA connector.

Security and Control for Your Network

The Cudy LT400 is more than just a simple WiFi Router. It offers professional features that you would otherwise only find in more expensive devices. Set up secure VPN connections with just a few clicks using modern protocols like WireGuard or OpenVPN to access your home Network on the go or securely dial into your company network. With functions like DDNS, QoS (Quality of Service), and DNS over TLS, you maintain full control over your data traffic and increase the security of your entire Network.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Can I use the Cudy LT400 with any SIM card in Germany/Europe?

Yes, the router is SIM-lock-free. Thanks to the broad coverage of European 4G frequency bands (especially Band 1, 3, 7, 8, 20), it is compatible with SIM cards from all major network providers in the DACH region and most of Europe.

Do I need a computer for setup?

No, not necessarily. After inserting the SIM card and powering it on, the router establishes a WiFi network. The name (SSID) and password are on the sticker on the bottom of the device. You can then connect with a smartphone or tablet and access the web interface for configuration.

What does 'WAN-Failover' mean for the LT400?

This function allows a primary internet connection to be used via the WAN port. If this fails, the router automatically and seamlessly switches to the 4G connection via the SIM card until the primary connection is available again.

Can I replace the antennas of the router?

The 4G antennas use a standard SMA connector, which technically allows replacement with more powerful directional antennas to specifically improve reception at locations with weak mobile signals.

Does the Cudy LT400 support the latest WiFi encryption WPA3?

Yes, newer revisions of the device (like v3.0) and corresponding firmware updates support WPA3. This offers significantly improved security compared to the older WPA2 standard. It is advisable to update the router's firmware.

How fast is the WiFi of the Cudy LT400 really?

The theoretical maximum speed is 300 Mbps. In practice, the speed is limited by the 4G connection, which reaches a maximum of 150 Mbps in download. The actual WiFi speed will therefore always be below the current 4G speed.
