The PoE Upgrade for Your Network Rack
This 4-Port Gigabit PoE Injector (also called PoE Panel or Midspan) is the professional alternative to single adapters. The principle is simple: On one side (LAN), you connect short patch cables from your switch. On the other side (PoE), you connect cables going to your end devices. Both data and power are delivered there.
Mode A & Gigabit
Many cheap multi-port injectors throttle speeds to 100 Mbps. This one offers full Gigabit bandwidth. It operates in Mode A, where power is transmitted as "phantom power" over data pairs 1,2 and 3,6. This is standard for many end devices.
Flexible Power Supply Choice
The injector features a 5.5 x 2.1 mm jack for power input.
* For 802.3af/at devices (Standard PoE): Use a 48V to 56V adapter.
* For Passive 24V devices (e.g., some MikroTik/Ubiquiti): Use a 24V adapter.
(Note: The injector passes voltage through 1:1. Check what your devices need beforehand!)
