Ubiquiti UNVR-Pro: No Compromises on Security
For small installations, a Cloud Key Gen2 Plus or a Dream Machine is sufficient. But when it comes to critical infrastructure, large warehouses, or long-term evidence retention, you need the UNVR-Pro. It is a dedicated appliance running exclusively UniFi Protect – optimized for maximum stability.
Why 7 Hard Drives?
More drives mean not just more space, but also more security and speed. * RAID 10 or RAID 5: With 7 slots, you can build a RAID 5 (striping with parity) or RAID 10. Even if a hard drive dies, not a second of video footage is lost. * Retention Time: With modern 16TB or 20TB hard drives, you can achieve retention times of over 60 days at 4K resolution. This is often a legal or insurance requirement.
Enterprise Features
The UNVR-Pro is built for the server room: * 10 Gigabit Uplink: When 50 cameras are sending 4K streams simultaneously, a normal Gigabit port starts to sweat. The SFP+ port of the UNVR-Pro laughs at that. * Stacking: Your project is growing? You can "stack" multiple UNVR-Pros. In the UniFi Protect App, they appear as a single, large system. You don't have to switch back and forth between different NVRs. * Power Redundancy: On the back of the device is the proprietary USP-RPS connector. If the internal power supply fails, the UniFi Redundant Power System (sold separately) takes over seamlessly.
