Management is centralized via your UniFi Protect Controller, such as a Dream Machine Pro or a UNVR. The biggest advantage: All your recordings are stored locally on your own hardware. There are no hidden monthly fees or mandatory cloud subscriptions. You retain full sovereignty over your sensitive data. Power Supply and data connection are made via a single port on a PoE-enabled Ethernet Switch, which minimizes Cabling. For power, separate PoE Injectors / Power Supplies can also be used.
