The Cable for Permanent Installation
Do you want a network socket in every room instead of plugging in WiFi repeaters everywhere? Then you need this cable. The LogiLink CPV0039 is a classic installation cable. It has rigid wires that can be perfectly pressed into the IDC terminals (LSA) of network sockets.
What does CCA mean?
This cable belongs to the "EconLine". The wires are made of Copper Clad Aluminium (CCA). This saves weight and costs. For typical Gigabit connections in a private home (e.g., from the basement to the living room), this works perfectly fine.
Pro Tip: For high-end applications like "Power over Ethernet" (PoE) over long distances (>50m), we recommend solid copper cables. But for standard home internet access, this cable is the price winner.
Interference-Free thanks to S/FTP
Network cables often lie next to power cables in the wall. Cheap cables run into problems here. The CPV0039 features S/FTP shielding. This means: The wire pairs are wrapped in foil AND a metal braid protects the entire cable. So your data arrives cleanly.
