Zyxel Nebula FWA710: High-Speed Internet from the Air
Anyone living in the countryside or working in a well-insulated new building knows the problem: 5G reception outside, but only Edge inside.
The Zyxel FWA710 radically solves this physical problem. It is a router and antenna in one. You mount it on the outside of the building and align it roughly with the nearest cell tower.
Performance Where It's Needed
Unlike small indoor routers, the FWA710 features integrated directional antennas with high gain (up to 9 dBi). This ensures more stable connections and higher data rates, even if the cell tower is far away.
The connection to the inside is made via a network cable, which also supplies power (Power over Ethernet). A matching PoE injector is included.
The Perfect Partner for UniFi (Bridge Mode)
For users of Ubiquiti (UDM-SE, UCG-Ultra) or other pro firewalls, this device is the gold standard.
You configure the FWA710 in "IP Passthrough / Bridge Mode". It then acts as a pure, transparent 5G modem and passes the public IP address directly to your router in the server rack. Thanks to the 2.5 GbE Port, the speed is not limited.
