Life Insurance for Your Antenna
Every outdoor connector is a potential weak point. Standard electrical tape quickly peels off in sun and rain. The SCAPA 2504 PIB Tape works physically differently: It is based on Polyisobutylene (PIB).
How It Works:
You remove the separator film and stretch the tape strongly while wrapping (stretching is key!). Through this tension and the overlapping of layers, the material chemically fuses together (cold welding). After a short time, you no longer have individual layers, but a continuous, rubber-like sheath around your connector.
Why SCAPA 2504?
It is resistant to ozone and water and withstands temperatures from -40°C to +90°C. With a length of 10 meters, this roll is easily enough to seal all connections on your RV or boat multiple times. It is 19mm wide and, at 0.7mm, particularly thick and robust.
