High-Speed Internet on Water and Land
If you buy an expensive 5G router (like the Teltonika RUTX50), you also need antennas that "understand" 5G. Conventional LTE antennas often filter out the high 5G frequencies. The ALFA AOA-M5G is specially optimized for the new frequencies (600 - 3800 MHz). This brings Gigabit speeds on board, provided the cell tower is within range.
Durability meets Performance
Plastic antennas quickly become yellow and brittle in the sun. This antenna is made of fiberglass. It is stable enough for the mast on a sailboat and withstands wind easily. As an omni-directional antenna, it ensures you have a connection no matter how the ship turns.
Mounting
The antenna has an N-connector at the bottom.
1. Direct Mounting: You can screw it directly onto an ALFA Tube (Model Tube-U5G or Tube-U4G).
2. Cable Mounting: Connect it to your indoor router using a suitable antenna cable (N-Plug to SMA-Plug).
Tip: For 5G routers with 4 ports (4x4 MIMO), we ideally recommend 4 of these antennas (or 2 for 2x2 MIMO) to achieve full speed.
