In the past, you needed a controller for WiFi and a separate recorder for cameras. The UCK-G2-PLUS combines both in a sleek aluminum housing that is barely larger than a smartphone. It is the ideal solution for demanding home networks or small-to-medium businesses (SMBs) that do not want to install 19-inch server technology.

UniFi Protect NVR

The Cloud Key Gen2 Plus comes with a 1 TB Hard Drive (2.5"). This allows you to connect and record UniFi Protect cameras immediately.
* Expandable: Not enough space? You can swap the hard drive tool-free for a larger 2.5" HDD (up to 5 TB).
* Performance: It easily manages up to 20 HD cameras or approx. 15 2K/4K cameras (depending on concurrent Network App usage).

Security for Your Database

A common problem with old controllers was that power failures corrupted the database. The Gen2 Plus has an internal battery. If you pull the PoE plug or the power fails, the device stays on briefly, saves everything safely, and shuts down in a controlled manner.

Note: The Cloud Key is a pure controller. It is not a router/gateway and has no integrated WiFi. You need a separate gateway (e.g., UXG-Lite) and Access Points for that.
