This Wi-Fi point-to-point bridge set consists of two Ubiquiti NanoStation 5AC units. The components are available unconfigured, pre-configured, or pre-configured including a firmware upgrade. The Ubiquiti NanoStation5AC is a robust, and weatherproof CPE operating on a 5 GHz / 802.11ac basis with an integrated 16dBi panel directional antenna, airMAX technology, a range potential of 15 km, and up to 450 Mbps data throughput. The Wi-Fi bridge is suitable for high distances that require a high data throupput. Ideally, you should install both components outdoors in such a way that they can "see" each other. This will provide the best results. If you choose our configuration service, this link set will be delivered with individual encryption and DHCP enabled. This allows you to typically operate this bridge set without further work (Plug & Play).
The Ubiquiti NanoStation 5AC / NS-5AC is a airMAX ac CPE with integrated 16dBi directional panel antenna and real data throughput of 450+ Mbps with the airMAX ac standard (MIMO TDMA protocoll). The compact enclosure of the NanoStation 5AC is very flexible. The NanoStation 5 AC works with the airOS where you can simply configure a Point-to-Point or Point-to-Multipoint connection.
Antenna-Design, airOS, Dual-EthernetThe NanoStation 5AC is easy to install and gives you ESD-Protection, small enclosure and can be used in in- and outdoor environments. With a second Ethernet Port including passive PoE function (needs to be enabled in admin panel), you can easily integrate in a second device like a ip camera. Thanks to the integrated airMAX ac technology the NanoStation 5AC has a huge range potential of 15km+. The integrated, dual-polarisation directional antenna has a gain of 16dBi and improved cross-polarity isolation and small footprint.
Weatherproof DesignThanks to the robust, UV-stabilized and weatherproof plastic housing the NanoStation 5 AC can be used in outdoor environments with no problems, even in extrem temperatures.
Passive PoEThe NanoStation 5AC gets Power over Ethernet (PoE). With this method you can power the device and the connection to the network with only one Ethernet cable (PoE adapter included in delivery).
The NS-5AC only works with other airMAX AC devices.
