This modification kit allows you to equip your FritzBox or Speedport router with 2.4 GHz, 9dBi omnidirectional WiFi antenna.
The FritzBox and Speedport routers normally have WiFi antennas with a gain of 2dBi which are fixed permanently to it. After doing the modification with our modification kit you will have a WiFi antenna with a gain of 9dBi instead of the fixed 2dBi antenna. This helps you to increase the range of the wifi signal.

* This model has a MIMO antenna system with two or three antennas. All antennas have to be treated equal. You have to modify all antennas.
** In hardware revision 1 and 2 (see backside of device), this model has a multi antenna system with three antennas. All antennas have to be treated equal. The antenna in the middle is a DECT and not a WIFI antenna. So you only have to modify the two outer antennas. In hardware revision 3, this device has two visible antennas. The DECT is not visile anymore. You have to odify the two visible antennas.
